
David Vogt is CEO of CrowdTrust Technologies, a semantic software company focusing on web presence management for professionals.
Within the Academic world Dr. Vogt is Director of Digital Learning Projects in the Faculty of Education at the University of British Columbia (UBC), where he champions innovative applications of emerging learning technologies. In the Innovation arena David is Executive Director of the Mobile Muse Network, which undertakes collaborative applied research of mobile-social media technologies. And within the Community David serves on a variety of public and private boards.
In an original career David was Director of Observatories at UBC. Then he became a Director of Science World, a public science museum. In 1996 he founded and became CEO of Brainium, a pioneer of Internet-based learning and wireless devices for K-12 classrooms. More recently David was Chief Research Officer at the New Media Innovation Centre in Vancouver.
David's family life centres on awesome wife Tracy and four amazing children. He is passionate about science, technology, learning, applied research, big ideas, building anything, music, hiking, biking and friends.
